Through the Subaru Loves to Help® Love Promise, Subies of the Corn collected over 600 toys for Toys for Tots, during our Fill-a-Forester event.
SOTC provided comfort and warmth to those in our area experiencing homelessness, by providing blankets, socks, and toiletry kits to 75 people.
SOTC also donated $2,800 to Autism Speaks, as part of Subaru Loves to Care® and participated in FL4TFest, to help benefit American Family Children’s Hospital and Dane County Humane Society.
2021 Subies of the Corn Fill-a-Forester Toy for Tots Toy Delivery Cruise

Subies of the Corn partnered with River Hawk Brewing to deliver the toys at Hawk Subaru during the Fill-a-Forester event to the Marine Corps Reserve.
SOTC organized a cruise, starting at Hawk Subaru and venturing through some scenic roads along the Des Plaines River and I&M Canal. Once at River Hawk Brewing, SOTC loaded the toys onto the Marine Corps Reserve vehicles to be brought back to the base for distribution.

As part of the Subaru Loves to Help® Promise, Hawk Subaru and SOTC worked together and collected over 600 toys to Fill-a-Forester for Toys for Tots.
Everyone donating toys for Toys for Tots received a long-sleeved shirt, courtesy of Hawk Subaru. The shirts were made from recycled water bottles, keeping with the Subaru Loves the Earth® promise.

2021 Subies of the Corn Delivers Comfort & Warmth

Through the Subaru Loves to Help® Promise, Subies of the Corn partnered with Hawk Subaru to collect toiletry kits, blankets, socks, and drawstring bags to distribute to those in need. SOTC assembled the comfort bundles at Hawk Subaru and then completed a cruise to MorningStar Mission.
In total, 75 comfort bundles were distributed to those experiencing homelessness during MorningStar Missions’ Annual Thanksgiving Banquet and Great Thanksgiving Coat Distribution.
2021 Subies of the Corn Trunk or Treat

What started off as a challenge by Hawk Subaru to fill their lot with cars, SOTC and their members stepped up and hosted a Trunk or Treat event to provide area children with a safe and fun trick or treating event.
SOTC members decorated their vehicles and handed out candy to area children. Hawk Subaru provided prizes for the best costume and best vehicle display.
2021 FL4TFest Celebration
August 7, 2021
Subies of the Corn took to the road for this event and hosted a booth at FL4TFest at the Madison International Speedway. This was our first event out of state and paved the way for more future events.
Limited edition SOTC Decals were made for the event and 100% of the money from the sale of the decals was donated to the FL4TFest Charities!
2021 Suds-n-Subies Life-SAYving Event

Subies of the Corn partnered with SAYv Animal Rescue for their life-SAYving event at Hawk Subaru. Many rescues and rescue animals were on hand ready to find their furever home.
The event coincided with our Suds-n-Subies and everyone in attendance had a blast and helped raise awareness for the animal rescues in attendance.
2021 Subies to the Rescue SAYv Animal Organization Launch and Cruise

Subies of the Corn partnered with SAYv Animal Organization to host a cruise in conjunction with their launch party.
The cruise took us along many of the area’s back roads along the I&M Canal, Illinois River, Des Plaines River, and the Dupage River. We ended the cruise at River Hawk Brewing for the SAYv Animal Rescue Launch Party.
2021 Subie of the Corn Cruise for Austin’s Army Parade

As part of Subaru Loves to Care®, Subies of the Corn participated in Austin’s Army Parade to help Make-a-Wish come true. Austin is an 8-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma almost 2 years ago. He was going through his 3rd round of cancer.
Austin’s Make-a-Wish was for an Army Parade and over 1,400 vehicles participated in the parade through his neighborhood. Subies of the Corn was proud to help bring some joy to Austin during his battle with cancer.
2021 Hawk Subaru Customer Appreciation Day

Plenty of Subarus were on display and everyone in attendance received some cool Subaru Swag, courtesy of Hawk Subaru and one lucky winner took home a Subaru Bean Bag Game Set.
2021 Subies of the Corn Autism Speaks Check Presentation Cruise

Subies of the Corn hosted a check presentation cruise. With Covid still challenging social interactions, we cruised from Plainfield to Harvester Park in Burr Ridge to present the check to Autism Speaks.
After the check presentation, we cruised over to Imperial Oak Brewing to celebrate our successes.
2021 Subies of the Corn Scavenger Hunt, Benefiting Autism Speaks

In support of Autism Acceptance Month, Subies of the Corn’s hosted a Scavenger Hunt to benefit Autism Speaks. Participants worked together in small teams to determined the best route and drove to various locations in a scavenger hunt fashion.
Photos at each location were posted to social media to help promote Autism awareness. In total, SOTC raised $2,800, through the generosity of our members.
