2023 Subies of the Corn Delivers Comfort & Warmth
March 11, 2023
Through Subaru’s Love Promise®,Subies of the Corn took action by partnering with MorningStar Mission Ministries to deliver items to those in need on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
SOTC delivered 500 pairs of socks, 181 toiletry kits,70 long-sleeve shirts, 50 towels, 48 washcloths, & 10 folding hampers to MorningStar, which will provide an immediate impact to those experiencing homelessness!
2022 Subies of the Corn Fill-a-Forester
December 10-11, 2022
The 2022 Fill-a-Forester was the largest toy collection event to date for SOTC, collecting 1,702 toys for Toys for Tots!
Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue and The Dainty Meow brought dogs and cats available for adoption. Two dogs and two cats were adopted during the event, and another 5 cat adoption applications were accepted.
20 SOTC members cruised to the US Marine Corps Reserve Center to deliver the toys for distribution.
2022 Subies of the Corn Trunk or Treat
October 22, 2022
Held on October 22nd, Subies of the Corn filled Hawk Subaru’s lot with decorated vehicles and handed out candy to the ghouls and goblins trick or treating.
Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue and The Dainty Meow brought dogs and cats available for adoption. Winifred an 11-week old hound mix puppy, found her fur-ever home.
SOTC presented Wags to Wishes with a donation of $330, which was raised during the event in honor of Subaru Loves Pets.
2022 Subies of the Corn Scavenger Hunt, benefiting MorningStar Mission
May 21, 2022
Held on May 21st, the 2022 Subies of the Corn Scavenger Hunt, raised $3,000 for MorningStar Mission. There were 31 Subarus in attendance and the route took attendees on a 115 mile adventure.
On June 25, 2022, the check for $3,000 was presented to MorningStar Mission, which will provide meals and care for 1,200 people in the Will County Area. The check presentation coincided with the Subaru Ambassador Day of Caring.
2021 Subies of the Corn Fill-a-Forester
December 11-12, 2021
Hawk Subaru has been gracious and supplied us with a Forester to fill with toys to benefit the Toys for Tots Organization. Through our partnership with Hawk Subaru, Subies of the Corn has collected over 1,500 toys and delivered them directly to the Marine Corps.

Subies of the Corn partnered with Hawk Subaru to collect toiletry kits, blankets, socks, and drawstring bags to distribute to those in need. In total, we built 75 kits and handed them out during MorningStar Missions’ Annual Coat Drive.
2021 Subie of the Corn Participate in Austin’s Army Parade

Austin is an 8-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma almost 2 years ago. He was going through his 3rd round of cancer. His Make-a-Wish was for an Army Parade and over 1,400 vehicles participated in the parade through his neighborhood. Subies of the Corn was proud to help bring some joy to Austin during his battle with cancer.
2021 Subies of the Corn Scavenger Hunt, Benefiting Autism Speaks
April 17, 2021
Subies of the Corn’s Signature Event. Participants determined their best route and drove to various locations in a scavenger hunt fashion. Photos at each location were posted to social media to help promote Autism awareness. In total, SOTC raised $2,800, which was donated to Autism Speaks.
