Since 2017, Subies of the Corn has raised over $14,000 for local and national charities and collected over 6,500 toys for Toys for tots.
Through a partnership with Hawk Subaru, over 1,100 pairs of socks, 250 toiletry kits, 75 drawstring bags, 50 towels and 50 washcloths have been donated to aid those experiencing homelessness.
SOTC has also collected/recycled 10,000 plastic grocery bags through, keeping over 165 pounds of plastic from our landfills. Our food drives have collected over 4,100 pounds of food and have helped provide over 3,500 meals for those in our area experiencing food insecurity.

Scavenger Hunt Supporting Subaru Loves Promise®

Subies of the Corn has hosted three Scavenger Hunts, since 2018 and has raised over $7,600 for local and national charities. MorningStar Mission, Autism Speaks, Wreaths Across America, Alliance for the Great Lakes, and M&M Acres have been the beneficiaries of the Subies of the Corn Scavenger Hunt.
Trunk or Treat Supporting Subaru Loves Pets®

Subies of the Corn’s Trunk or Treat events have been a huge hit with the Subaru community and Plainfield/Joliet area. Providing a safe place for kids to Trick or Treat at Hawk Subaru has been well received in the community.
Through the events, we have donated over $1,000 to Wags to Wishes and Winifred find her perfect, loving home.
Stuff-a-Solterra Supporting Subaru Loves the Earth®

On the first Stuff-a-Solterra event on Earth Day 2023, Subies of the Corn collected and recycled almost 5,000 plastic grocery bags, eliminating 75 pounds of plastic from entering our landfills.
Our 2024 Stuff-a-Solterra event collected over 6,000 plastic grocery bags, which were converted into plarn (plastic yarn). The plarn was used to craft sleeping pads for the homeless, and any scrap material was recycled, eliminating over 90 pounds of “hard to recycle” plastic from entering out landfills.
Food Drive Supporting Subaru Loves to Help®

On the Subaru Ambassador of Caring, Subies of the Corn partnered with Hawk Subaru to collect and donate over 4,100 pounds of food to the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
The food donation will provide over 4,600 meals to those in our area experiencing food insecurities.
